According to one of the people who Nyasa Times spoke to, John Phiri his decision to buy the jersey came about because of the love he has for the Flames.

Phiri comes from Kayesa Village, Traditional Authority Mwase in the district.

“One of them is red and the other one blue. I use the blue one for away games while the red one for home games,” he said.

Ironically, the Flames have never used a blue jersey in any of their matches.
