FAM siyolakwa was he employed with FAM for life, this is a result of his poor management. He ought to have planned his livelihood by investing his proceed and make a better living for himself. From record his last assignment with FAM is dated 2006, why then should FAM be responsible for him no logic here. This should be a lesson for all people with skill organise yourselves and make a better living with the skill God gave you.

Were they looking for age of the representative or something else. Three senior people was
not enough representation? Or they wanted the whole FAM executive to attend….my foot!

If indeed FAM sent three officials with 50 mita. Then FAM was represented at the funeral unless there is a standing procedure which is followed under this situation and it has been violeted, then fine.

It is unfortunate that in Malawi, it is diffult to save for the future because of merger Salaries some of us are geeting. But it is not true that after we have left employment, we should expect the same employer to take care of us whenever in problems. It is the responsiblity of the employers when we are still in employment, not after we have left. In this way Pension must provide, if at all any. Rest in peace Ibra.
