In the game of chess we call that ‘feudal gambity’ that means you have no choice but bring results whether the flames is doing good or not. Mind you Mr Matola that the reason why they gave you the post was to market Flames that produces poor results.

“Football is a big brand that could not be too difficult to sale”. This is according to Suzgo Nyirenda. I find this statement or remark way too hypocritical looking at how FAM has struggled to market the game in Malawi for the past 25 years or so. Is he trying to put unnecessary pressure on the young man? There are several factors that contribute to the marketability or lack thereof of football in Malawi including : Poor macroeconomic environment which limits sponsors or potential sponsors from injecting money into football as they too are struggling.
