FAM names Malawi squad for Tanzania friendly

The Football  Association  of  Malawi  (FAM)  has released a 20-member squad scheduled to leave Thursday for Mbeya to play a friendly game against Tanzania on Sunday 4th May 2014.

In the squad, there are two goalkeepers, six defenders, eight midfielders and four strikers.

Silver Strikers has contributed more players with six in total seconded by Big Bullets, Kamuzu Barracks and Blue Eagles.

The team will be captained by Civo United defender John Lanjesi with Blue Eagles midfielder Philip Masiye as his vice.

However, despite being in top form, Mafco FC has not contributed any player.

The Salima based out-fit has talented players like striker Calisto Kalinda , Osward Papa Nkagula and Zasher Nong’oneza.
