FAM says Flames in CHAN qualifiers
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has confirmed that the Flames will be participation in the 2015 African Nations Championship competititon (CHAN).
FAM General Secretary Suzgo Nyirenda told a local press on Thursday that the association had already completed the registration process for the competition.
“We are now just waiting for the details including the dates for the preliminary rounds of the competition,” he said.
He said Malawi last participated in the competition in 2010 and were eliminated by Angola in the first round.
The African Nations Championship is a football tournament exclusively for African players based on the continent, which was first introduced in 2007 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Another disaster cuming along our way, u will b surprised the players whom Young and Jack wil pick. We need a proper team with excellent performance in their clubs.
Good news to hear, but at the same time, the local football league be professional. Otherwise it will be the same song by the coach like, we played well but we didn’t score.
