Fargo’s Jakhura dubes estate agent in plots of land business

Blantyre based estate agent Louis Twapalisha is accusing Malawian of Asian Aamir Jakhura [of Fargo Limited] of duping him in multimillion business dealings between May and June this year.
Faizal Aboo: Reportedly bought one of the plots

Faizal Aboo: Reportedly bought one of the plots

Jakhura engaged Twapalisha in selling his three plots at Maone Park in the commercial capital, but the two are now in hide and seek games.
The plots in question are NK 613 and was pegged at K59 million;  NK 51 K70 million and NK 51 K85 million and the agent took the trouble to find the buyer on understanding that he will get 20 percent commission on each plot from Jakhura.
After a successful sale, Jakhura refused to give commissions to Twapalisha claiming that the plots were sold to persons who used to Jakhura’s family friends.
Following this, the disgruntled agent took the matter to Limbe Police, but his efforts yielded nothing as the businessman declined to appear before the law enforcers abd advised them to be contacting his lawyers.
Prior to the deal, according to one of the Police officers, who didn’t want to be named, declined to sign contract forms, but assured Twapalisha of duly of getting his dues without hustles.
This happened between May and June 2016 and they used to discuss on phone or Louis going to his office in Limbe but this time when calling or texting him, he never responds.
The plots were sold to OG Issa and Faizal Aboo, whom Jakhura claims are his friends.
“The trouble is that the complainant has no documents to suppott his claims. He was engaged, yes but there are no documents to substantiate his claims. Verbal agreements are easily disowned. Jakhura verbally committed to give the agent tne commisdion, but now is not forthcoming because  there no papers,” ssid law enforcer.
Asked why he didn’t go to Police, Jakhura said he has no time for police, claiming he is “always busy with my company of more than 150 employees”.
Jakhura, who described Twapalisha as his friend, also has no time for this reporter and went on to cut the line.

He was a fool. So this case cannot go anywhere. Just give up Twapalisha. U r a fool not to have signed a contract.

Umh all will be in the favour of jakhura. Our law enforcers likes them than their fellow compatriots. They are kings in our own land. Believe me ku limbe police kuli Mr Obrieva Banda mtumbuka wachabechabe wodyera amwenye mpaka kugula galimoto ask Kachere people akumudziwa. Kulinso Msisya nngakhale amavala slippers ku office pretending ngati samawadyera amwenye.

A Jakhula inu ndinu wochitabwino kale, please give that guy only 5%. mwana wavutika.

why 5%? Agreement was 20 percent komanso the guy ndi wombwambwana. Dont trust these amwenyes 100%, mpaka no signed agreement? cos amacheza…. nde zimenezotu.

I dont know what to say except that this mwenye guy seems to be rude and has the police on his payroll to the extent that he has no respect for our law enforcers and self degrading Malawians in general.

20%? That’s too much. Thats why mmwenyeyu akuthawathawa. Inenso bwenzi ndikuthawathawa. Plots valued and sold at K120 million and you want to pocket K24 million as a commission just for selling the plots? Who can allow that?

The boy is failing to complete the section of the road from Illovo to Midima round about after some good five months since the project started. I wonder how he won the tender. Go there, all you will see are his graders driving around and nothing tangible is happening. This is very much frustrating motorists. One guy commented that Fargo doesn’t know where to start from and why the Roads Authority did not take the responsibility of the project it remains any body’s guess.

In other countries foreigners are second class in Nyasaland its the other way round. The plots that Jakhura “owned” below to ancestors of the agent. Not everything that Idi Amin Dada did to Asians wasnt wrong. It is the behaviour such as that of Jakhura that justified Admin actions. Is there Malawian who can lead stand against foreigners, Pakistan Talibans in particular. Someone couragious enough to tell Jakhura to respect natives.

20% is pure theft. However why not kill the Paki? Why are we Malawians so stupid? If the Taliban doesnt want to negotiate the % down and pay something just kill him.

I am in the property business and my take is that at 20% commission, the agent was charging too much. Worse for him he did not have paperwork, which is bad estate agencing.
