This tournament is the last installment in what has been a series of 5 previous Airtel Fixed Broadband Golf tourneys that the company has been hosting since June this year.

“We have been to almost all the major golf courses in the corners of Malawi and now it’s time for the mother of all golf tournaments. The three days speak volumes of both the quality and quantity of golfers being targeted and how much Airtel values the golfing clientele,” said Rachel Mijiga, Airtel Malawi’s Enterprise Director.

Mijiga said Airtel highly appreciates the growing interaction, relationship and partnership with golfers.

The format for the 3 day tourney will be stroke play; Consecutive first tee off time will be from 6:50 am and usual green fees will apply.

Over the past 5 months, Nchalo, Blantyre, Mbawa, Thyolo and Kasasa Golf Clubs have hosted the Airtel Fixed Broadband Golf tourneys which have featured exciting and competitive golf.
