You spent two years teaching Lilongwe resident how to keep the city clean.

On the other hand this is nice development .Komano lets be serious with our cities .Atsogoleri athu muzikhala ngati mumayenda kuwona mayiko ena.Capital city iziwoneka with nice roads to airport,palm trees ,street rights and good buildings in prime areas osati izi amwenye angomanga pali ponse.I dont know ngati tizakhale ndi ambitious president who can do the road to the airport to town so that tisamachite manyazi kwa alendo.

All this while village women walk for hours, each day, to fill buckets from dirty puddles, risking disease and never finding enough for their families even to drink! Where are your priorities?

I thought it was the City Council which was constructing those ugly roundabouts. Sorry the mayor. Sorry the CEO of Lilongwe. Truth be said, there is nothing beautiful about those roundabouts. In fact they are death traps. Simple roundabouts with flowers could have made the city more beautiful. I have never seen any roundabout in nthe world that is as as ugly as those in Liloongwe. Please divert the money to real projects that can transform the livelihood of hewe povos. What is in a roundabout? Who designed them? BEAM is defacing Lilongwe. big time. The Parliament roundabout is not too bad because it is low enough for a driver to see all four sides. However, the Capital Hotel one is going to be one big death trap: Which idiot came up with this design? It’s too high such that you can only see two sides. This should be demolished forthwith. How did the Road Traffic Directorate approve of such an obvious disaster? I have no doubt that the next Government will bring back our beautiful grass and flowers roundabouts. …..defeating Muslows hierachy.kukongoletsa kunja kubisa mavuto ali mmamidzimu. Am so sure padyedwa ndalama pamenepa. Its a good idea to beautify the cities but addressing critical problems is ideal in our situation.
