Asking for donors to leave can only be the ultima ratio. Ask yourself whether Malawians are really ready for this? You have a president that has publicly resignated to the fight against corruption. The outcry from the opposition parties and the media lasts one day, then its back to business until the next scandal is made public. In other even developped countries there would be daily protests in front of parliament and the residences of the suspected culprits. In Malawi, nothing like this happens. All what u say is right and correct. The problem with Malawi leaders and Malawians is that they does not to demonstrate fear that they will be killed. Since 1994 when Malawi became Democratic nation the leaders have promised to fight corruption but instead it increase. Yes Malawians wish they could look at TZ new leader and get to learn from him. The corruption of Malawi is not just a leader alone but Malawians in general has found out to be rich quick is to steal. They believe in bribe as a way to get service quick. Thank u Germany. I wish other donors do the same by asking Malawi government to give back the money they have stolen and deposit in foreign banks. I could love all donors leave Malawi and don’t give Malawi any money. How did Europe and other countries developed? Malawi can make it. Corruption is created with donor money. Where there is money u don’t make it yourself there thieves. Africans are greedy selfish people. They like me and my family my tribe my region. Not as one country and one unit.
