Early marriage does not keep a girl away from school. What keeps a girl away from school is a girl’s own choice. The girl may not want to be in school and won’t be forced to be in school. This bill will lead to legalization of prostitution. Frustrations at school will force the frustrated individual to release the stress with other activities. Please excuse my language, I will be blunt. The bill is toothless because it doesn’t prevent under age girls from Being fucked by adults!! To me the women mps are stupid, they should have seen this obvious loophole and closed it. The under age girls will not get married until 18 but meanwhile they will Be fucked anyway with exactly the same consequences that the bill is trying to stop!! Am surprised that even well informed NGOs like Gewe have been duped. The new law still allows under 18 to marry. Does consent from parents mean they hav completed school? Tell me. This law has only managed to legalize marital rape and property grabbing by women who enter marriage to seek wealth
