Great Angels Choir to release new album next month

The Great Angles Choir of ‘Ndisiyeni Ndiyende’ fame are set to release their fourth album called ‘Mwasankha ine’ next month.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency, the group’s music director William Zonda said their fans should expect the usual good taste of music from the album.

 “Though the journey has been tough, we have finally finished recording our fourth album and once we are satisfied with the CD sells, we shall start shooting our DVD,” said Zonda.

Recorded by former Member of Parliament for Chikhwawa East, Joseph Tembo at Groove Magic Studio, Zonda said the album contains ten tracks including songs like Tadikira, Samadziwa Kanthu and Akuyimilira ndani?.

The Lilongwe based singing group which congregates at Central Africa Presbyterian (CAP) came in the lime light in 2008 after they released their second album called Gwireni Dzanja which contained the most air played Paine ndekha sindingathe.

Their journey continued to be successful as their previous album, Ndiyende bwanji? Also came out to be one of the best-selling albums in the country the past few years.
