Grey Mang’anda picked as acting PS for Information
Former Dean of Education and Media Studies at the Polytechnic a constituent college of the University of Malawi, Grey Mang’anda, has been appointed acting Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Information and Civic Education.
He has been drafted in the position to fill a vacancy left by Anthony Livuza who died recently after being PS for Information, government insiders told Nyasa Times.
The seasoned journalist has been serving as director of information in the ministry for months now.
Mang’anda served in a similar position between 1998 and 2000 when the job title was known as chief information officer.
He also served as chief protocol officer in the ministry of foreign affairs during the Bakili Muluzi administration.
