Mkandawire also congratulated Uladi Mussa for being appointed acting President of People’s Party.

“Let me also congratulate Honourable Kamlepo Kalua, mwana mwanalume for being appointed Acting Vice-President of People’s Party. And you have started well looking at what happened at Masintha [ground during a political rally,” said Mkandawire.

Kamlepo Kalua is PP’s Rumphi East Parliamentarian.

Before joining the party he was the founder and leader of now defunct Malawi Democratic Party (MDP).

Kalua is well known for his bravery to take on Heads of States and ruling governments on issues of national interest.

He is one of the people who played pivotal role in the fight against one party dictatorship and promotion of multi-party democracy.

A Malawi tikukazingiza ndi DPP. I hope the likes of Kamlepo will help to pump sense in this clueless leadership. Surely a repeat of what God did in 2012 would be a welcome developement because the situation is fast taking the same path.

Enewa amawona chanzeru nkukhala pa mpando wa president. Thats is what the problem we have – be a president with completely nothing in the head like APM. As it is, a lomwe dog can be president as long as it is lomwe its okey and they have achieved. Thats as far as a lomwe would think? I do not think so. APM is a complete failure but because he is lomwe and he is the president its fine for some like the writer below. Tiyeni tivutike – a tumbuka kagwereni uko if tili pampando. Gonapamuhanya, do you want everybody to walk the political path you walk? Let people choose what they feel is good for them.

Chanzeru njeee! Koma ambwenumbwenu you needed to go back on the drawing board. Too greedy indeed. Mostly politically used like condoms coz of greed. This Uladi has come from nowhere and taken up the most succulent post in your full view. the problem you are too vocal for nothing and you are always on the wrong side come any political Tsunami. How many of your fellers have suffered even during the reign of Dictator Dr. Banda? What about culprits in cashgate? How many have you offered? And now you are being fooled by failures in MCP, being raped in bed… Read more »

I am 100% Tumbuka, and I normally defend my fellow Tumbukas.

But on this one, while I do not agree with your gutter language I am 100% with you on the gist of your comment,

It is a disgrace to use time you are being paid for congratulating each other on things that trivial.

I think the wages of parliamentarians should be slashed.
