Headline acts for ‘Dolo Wa Mu Hood’ promise great

One of the most exciting live urban music shows in Malawi is back and this year it promises to be great.

The launch for “Dolo Wa Mu Hood” will take place at Ozone Entertainment Centre at Machinjiri in Blantyre on April 26.

Following the countdown to the showdown, acts to perform during the event have been announced.

Nyasa Showbiz caught up with Slessor and Martse, who are amongst the artists set to perform.

“It’s gonna be a great show,” Martse said when asked about his expectations

Slessor, being his cocky self, had this to say: “I think am at a point where everyone knows what am capable of doing when it comes to actual Mc’ing.”

“By the end of the day I just wanna have fun with it,” added Slessor.

The lineup:

Martse vs. Slessor

Malinga Mafia vs. Nepman

Reno vs. Third Born

There has been an outcry from the public using social media suggesting lyrical warfare between dancehall artists Malinga Mafia and Timaya should be settled right on the stage. Like the Jamaica version of sting.

Timaya currently has a record out called a photographer. We are yet to hear from organizers on how that goes.

Other performers expected are from Mr P, Shasha Jnr, Nyasa B, Twin M, Unyakanyaka, Inenso ndi Mbuzi, One Wizzy and many more.
