Homeless and hungry after Malawi floods: Mercy’s story

“This year the floods have been so heavy,” says Mercy. “We have never seen anything like this.” She and her three young children are living in a temporary camp, surviving on one meal a day, after Malawi’s worst flooding for 20 years forced the family from their home.

Unicef teams are on the ground helping families following the Malawi floods, distributing drinking water and building toilets to prevent disease. By donating just £11 you can provide a water kit to keep a family in Malawi safe from disease.
