JB in shoes hand-outs
President Joyce Banda on Thursday rolled out new hands-out scheme when she donated about 500 pairs of orange shoes in Blantyre at a political meeting.
During the rally, President Banda also handed over truck loads of food stuff following shortage of food in the area.
The donation was handed over to Traditional Authority (T/A) Kunthembwe.
During the rally, T/A Kunthembwe asked for social services such as schools, health facilities and bitumen road to link Chileka and Mwanza.
The President promised to look into the issues.
