Its true some reporters leave alot to be desired. They need to be fair and responsible in their work. They must do proper research before they write, check meanings of strange words in dictionary or on google for them to understand a topical debate,eg federalism. The citizens want its real meaning and not chitaganya, umbombo, kugawa dziko. Journalists have a huge task to educate the masses on this debate.

hopelessness is emerging among some journalists in malawi by engaging themselves in propaganda by misinforming the unsuspecting public, especially the current debate on federalism. can the journalists please try to educate the people on the real meaning of federalism, its pros and cons rather than misleading us. we expect the journalists to avoid lop-sided stories shown on mbc tv. mr jimmy kainga address these concerns as well.
