That Joyce Banda found the cashgate already existed from Bingu wa Mutharika, she was not the pioneer of cashgate. The cashgate started with the DPP not the Joyce Banda regime don’t be misled our brothers and sisters from Malawi, that is your country you must know better that we your neighbors. When Muluzi run against the first democratic election, the incumbent also lost. However, it is possible in some aspects to argue that Malawi was not a democratic nation then. On the other hand, no one runs for the high office in a dictatorship. So the question is, was Malawi still under dictatorship during democratic elections, which Muluzi won?
So far this is good analysis of JB’s maladministration. I want to add that the current regime is so crafty in their ways of milking public money to the extent that the $33 million referred to in the article is just a drop in the ocean.
