Kaliati back to bid farewell after deal at Cape Town City FC
Former Be Forward Wanderers midfielder Isaac Kaliati is expected to return back home tomorrow (Thursday, 6 April 2017) after a successful trip in South Africa where he passed trials at Cape Town City.
Kaliati was unveiled as a new signing by the Citizens on Friday, and he is believed to have signed a five-year deal with the PSL rookies.
In an interview with Nyasa Times on Tuesday, Kaliati said he is expected to jet in the country afternoon in Blantyre.
“I am so delighted after passing trials and looking forward to start playing. But l will arrive in the country tomorrow Thursday,”he said.
Kaliati is a brilliant and intelligent player, who also plays in the Flames team.
He started his serious career with Azam Tigers before moving to Be Forward Wanderers, where he raised his game.
Kaliati was part of the under-20 team and I promoted him to the senior national team in 2016.
Former Flames coach Ernest Mtawali said Kalaiti has been outstanding at home and deserves the move to the PSL.
“I have no doubt he will add value to Cape Town City and succeed in South Africa,” he said.
