Kamlepo to reveal his abductors at Rumphi rally: Some North Malawi are enjoying ‘blood money’

Tormented Rumphi East legislator Kamlepo Kalua says he will conduct a political rally in his constituency to reveal names of names  of his abduction  for 11 days and insists it was work of the regime.

Kamlepo: Claims to have been abducted and will reveal names

Kalua who still fears his abductors might have been put some dangerous substance in his body through food or otherwise said he will spill the beans on what happened during his abduction time.

“I will reveal the names. Some Northenors are involved . How do they feel to be enjoying on blood money,” he said.

Kalua, who is also People’s Party (PP) third vice-president and vice-chairperson of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC), has since condemned Malawi Police for quickly concluding investigations and making statements in political tone that he faked his kidnap.

The legislator was found at Kwacha Roundabout in Blantyre early Sunday morning after his family reported him missing last week. But police have dismissed this, concluding that he staged his abduction.

Kalua, however, maintained that he was abducted while inspecting his construction project in Chileka and that his abductors staged his release in a matter to discredit him.

He said the plotted to make him die an police conclude that it was suicide like the regime murder of university student Robert Chasowa.

Meanwhile, Kalua has taken to court for abuse of office two Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) officers and a police officer who impounded his two vehicles late last month.

The defendants are Maganizo Chinkoko, MRA senior tax investigation officer and lead investigator during the raid, Edwin Magalasi, assistant commissioner for police and regional criminal investigations officer (Southern Region) and Winstone Honde, an officer at MRA.

Malawians, why are you wasting your time on this opportunistic thug? This man lacks proper education and at this time,he is trying to hide his true colours by confusing the minds of Malawians. As AFORD is gaining momentum in the North, his strategy is to join the Party which he had been chastised all this time and holed himself in the South where he managed to hoodwink the Muluzis and later the former President J.Banda for his own opportunistic gains.Frankly,he managed to convince these two leaders for a while, now that he has seen that PP is falling apart,he wants to fall in love… Read more »

first thing Kamlepo to do it reveal the circumstances of his abduction. Where did it happen? How did it happen? When did it happen? What did his family do when Kamlepo went missing? Did he tell the family not to tell everyone about his abduction? Who was with him at the time of abduction? Who else witnessed the abduction? All these questions Kamlepo can tell without even revealing the names of the abductors. Why did the family kept quiet in this abduction? If they dont trust the Police are they saying even if something bad happen to them they will… Read more »

I THINK MOST OF US MALAWIANS HAVE A COMMON PROBLEM AND SHARE THE SAME HATRED.SOMEONE IN THE STATE OF SHOCK COULD NOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED AND NOW HE HAS REGAINED HIS MEMORY AND YET WE ASK HOW COME NOW? I THINK WE ARE FOOLS INDEED TO ASK SUCH QUESTIONS.AND SOMEONE ELSE ASKS WHY KAMLEPO WAS TO NAMES HIS ENEMIES AT A RALLY BUT TO POLICE.OHOOOO POLICE OF TODAY ALREADY HAVE CONCLUSIONS WHY WASTING TIME WITH SUCH GROUP .ABOUT A CAR,WE ARE FOOLS ENOUGH NOT TO HAVE HEARD THAT KAMLEPO ‘S CARS WERE CONFISCATED ,IT IS A MATTER OF REASING THAT… Read more »

I pity all Malawians who have shamelessly chosen to be fooled by Kamlepo. Why do we carry our heads; is it not for reasoning? Why then have we elected to embrace a story that doesn’t add up? 1. On the day of the alleged abduction, Kamlepo should have a personal car; have we been told what happened to this car? Or did he use public transport or he trekked or the abductors also delivered it safely to him? 2. Why is he ready to reveal the abductors at a political rally rather than police station or other law-enforcers? 3. How… Read more »
