Big Bullets supporters have said they will credit their success this season to coach Eliah Kananji when they are crowned the TNM Super champions and urged the club to keep him for at least another season.
The supporters who spoke to Nyasa Times said Kananji who has guided the team to consistent goon run of results this season and they are already in the promised land as champions-in-waiting, said Kananji deserves to stay in charge of the Peoples Team.
There has been confusion in Bullets camp since the club drafted in Burundian coach Nsazarwimo Ramadhan as technical advisor but has of late been overshadowing Kananji.
Ramadan, who claimed he had come for a holiday and would assist the club with technical expertise, has since hinted that he will make a comeback next season for a permanent job.
Bullets are on the verge of clinching the title this season and then take part in next year’s CAF champions league.
However, in an interview with a local radio station, BB chairman Kondie Msungama, backed Ramadan as the man to guide Bullets beyond this season.
“Ramadan qualifies to be our coach as we prepare to take part in CAF champions league next year but now our focus is to win the league and not searching for a coach,” said Msungama.
Nyasa Times understands that Ramadhan will take over as Big Bullets coach next season.
