Coach Elijah Kananji has described vastly experienced striker Jimmy Zakazaka signing as a “huge talent” and says the former Big Bullets striker has showed great promise in his first Mighty Be- Forward Wanderers training sessions.
The former Bullets star is on the verge to seal a move from the Peoples team this season as he became the Nomads first experienced striker new arrival before the 2015 season kicks off.
Kananji admits he is impressed by the playe’sr early performances in training.
“I would say, he is gelling well with the rest of the squad. But let’s be open minded and let [him] surprise us. The first signs that we see are very positive in training,” said Kananji.
Kananji also praised his charges that so far he is impressed with their performance and urged them to work more extra hard because competition will be very stiff at Lali-Lubani Road this season.
During their Wednesday training session at Limbe Country Club, there were a number of new faces that included former Silver Strikers goalkeeper Alex Makina, Blantyre United duo of Muhammad Sulumba and Tofara Mopiwa.
There were also new faces from relegated Chikwawa United players.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
