In a communiqué, organisers Impala Communications, said Teacher Mpamire — who is a high school teacher in real life — would like to interact with students whilst in the country and that in every country he goes to in Africa, he plants trees with students.

“He feels Africa is affected by similar problems of environment degradation due to senseless cutting down of trees resulting in adverse climate change,” said Impala’s Petros Mazunda.

“Teacher Mpamire feels there is need to educate the young ones in the virtues of protecting the environment at a tender age so that they grow up into citizens who will protect Africa’s beautiful nature,” Mazunda said.

Described as Africa’s Queen of Comedy by the continent’s media, this is Kansiimes’second visit in Malawi having performed twice in Lilongwe a couple of years back and by popular demand, she is back to satisfy people’s hunger for glamorous and maximum entertainment.

She will be accompanied by Teacher Mpamire and a budding and entertaining comedian aka MC Cotilda Inapo.

Tickets for the show — at K25,000 for gold and K15,000 for silver, are available at the following places in Blantyre at Steers Blantyre, Steers Poly, College of Medicine Sports Complex and at MultiChoice offices.
