KB tops Malawi TNM Super League first round

Kamuzu Barracks FC have secured the top spot in the 2013 TNM Super League first round after edging fellow soldiers Mafco 1-0 in a mid-week fixture played on Wednesday, September 12, 2013 at Chitowe Ground in Dwangwa.

Weld Nkuliwa scored the lone strike that took the soldiers from army headquarters to the top of the log table with 29

Meanwhile, two games are  remaining  to wrap up the first round with  Big Bullets vs Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday  and Mafco F.C vs. Blue Eagles at Chitowe on the same date.
