Kondwani Munthali of Malawi’s UK High Commission abandons JB

Journalist Kondwani Munthali and now working as Second Secretary for Press and Protocol in the Malawi High Commission in UK writes the following:

I Kondwani Bell Munthali serving as Second Secretary for Press and Protocol in the Malawi High Commission no longer recognize Joyce Banda as President of the Republic of Malawi based on her decision to violate and rape the Constitution, will and democratic principles of Malawi.

She ascended in office on the same constitution and she has violated the same. I represent the people of Malawi and not the illegal Government constituted from the premise of one selfish individual. As long as she sticks to the Presidency I cannot serve in a Government that usurp rape and violate the will of Malawians. I believe in Malawi and Malawi is my only country, land and home.

I am flying back now to show and express my solidarity with Malawians when a President decides to rape our Republican constitution, values and democracy. I am for Malawi, I represent Malawi and Joyce Banda is not my President nor does she represent the Republic of Malawi.

Kondwani Minthali: Resigns
Kondwani Minthali: Resigns

I call upon the Speaker of the dissolved Parliament, the Chief Justice and all dissolved institutions to be reconstituted as she has reconstituted her Presidency and nullified elections and she should be impeached now.

At 50 years Malawi needs to move forward and people have died and sacrificed their blood to maintain our democracy, to Joyce Banda we shed blood and you call yourself a believer ask God to forgive you. I asked you a question on 19 May 2013’ how many of those that you believed really loved you. Remember Malawi is bigger than you, we will survive and grow.
