Let us possess all that belong to us

Many times when children of God are going through situations, they just get used to the situation as it becomes part of their life and do not even bother to take any step to get out of that situation. It is during this time that we are in the comfort zone that we miss what God has destined for us. This is not what God promised us as His children. In Deuteronomy 1:6-7, we see Moses telling the children of God the law saying “You have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn you and take your journey…”.jesus bible

We believe that our God is faithful and always keeps His promises therefore the same promises that were given then still applies to those that believe in Him as a personal Savior. It does not matter what mountain is in front of us, it is God’s plan that we should go in and possess the land that He has promised our fore fathers.

Our God is not happy when His children are stuck in a situation for a long time all because we just don’t know that it is all possible with the God that we save (Hosea 4:6).

Lets us not settle for less when it comes to things of God. The moment we start settling for less we get comfortable with the just having enough for the day or partial deliverance or healing when God actually promises to meet all our needs, and complete deliverance and healing.

There is a story in the Bible of a woman which had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years and could not lift up. I would want to believe that it reached a point when this was all part of her life and people knew her as a bend woman. The Bible tells us that when Jesus Christ saw her, and told her that she was loosed from her infirmity, she was immediately made straight and she glorified God. This shows us that this woman knew God and yet was still bound by this spirit of infirmity proving to us that many of us are walking bound in many areas of our lives but we are just comfortable with that yet we are children of God.

There is no such thing in the Kingdom of God that we should be suffering for such a long time because it is God’s desire that we should all live in Good health, completely delivered and healed from sicknesses and also not lack anything. That is why Jesus Christ had compassion when she saw this woman and wanted to immediately heal her and also referred to her as the daughter of Abraham, still going back to the covenant relationship with Abraham and His descendants.

We are also the descendants of Abraham therefore the beneficiaries of the same covenant.

Let us refuse to stay on the same place for a long time. We need to reach a point when we can open our eyes and see that the devil has stolen too much from us and be able to get back all that belongs to us as God’s Children. “Let us

Posses the double: and everlasting joy shall be unto us” (Isaiah 61:7).
