An excellent article that lays out very clearly all that is wrong with Malawi. There is so much to put right but this cannot be achieved unless the problems are recognised and acknowledged. Genuine and honest leadership is called for, but who is prepared to take up the challenge? Unfortunately there is no one in sight.

Well said! I am also sick and tired.
I am sick and tired of Malawi being a hungry nation every year. Let’s have fewer children so that we have less mouths to feed, fewer people to treat, fewer kids to educate, fewer convicts to jail, etc. It’s not just the politicians’ greed that is doing Malawi in, it is these personal choices also.
