Ma Blacks return to Cape Town after six years

Malawi’s celebrated reggae outfit the Black Missionaries will next month return on stage to Capetown in South Africa after six years since they last perfumed.

In the recent past, the Chileka based outfit has been performing mostly in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The Blacks will play alongside Zimbabwe’s great Alick Macheso and Orchestra Mberikwazvo Band at Capetown Good Hope Center on September 20, a show that has been dubbed SADC Music Festival.

The following day they will entertain fans at Malawi Family Day at Masipulele Hall.

“It’s gonna be massive! We gonna rock and people will really enjoy our usual fantastic perfomance.

“We promise to dish out the best and this will be like no other weekend,” said Black Missionaries lead vocalist Anjiru Fumulani.

During all the shows, entry is only at R150.
