Mablacks, Dan Lu, Police Orchestra to light up Mothers’ Day mood

With the summer time shaping up in Malawi, who would love to miss the unification of local artists in setting up the mood for the Mother’s Day celebration over the weekend?

 Its undeniable fact that a mother’s love has played a big role in our upbringing and it’s of no surprise when artists unite to recognize her bounty affection; and Black Missionaries, Dan Lu, Anthony Makondetsa joined by Police Orchestra are expected to set the mood this Friday as they come together to share a stage at Motel Paradise.

 Organized by Entertainers Promotions, the show will feature other faces in the likes of Khonzie Masimbe, Yanjanani Chumbu plus 4 Tees disco aside from other performances.

 “Mothers’ day is one of the most important days to appreciate the role of a mother in life. So we decided to give our fans a treat with our local bands,” explained Entertainers Promotions’ director Tonderai Banda.

 It’s that time of the year again to feel the dusty breeze of warm summer sun as the melancholy melodies from warm heart of Africa cool the heat off you as you patronize the show on Friday at Motel Paradise. Let’s celebrate our mothers’ greatest love with pride and joy.
