Contemporary gospel singer Mada Ngoleka of Nde’feyo Entertainment mesmerised the audience at Nanzikambe Arts Café in Naperi Township in Blantyre on Saturday afternoon when Nde’feyo unveiled her one of their gospel artists under Nde’feyo Gospel.
Mada impressed the crowds with her performance which could be dubbed as a talent statement.
The 18-year-old twanging her acoustic guitar, played 70 times 7, a song that talks about forgiveness modelled from the Bible scriptures of Matthews 18:21-22.
And a moment of sing along with crowds came when she played Chikondi cha Yesu.
Musician of the moment Lawi, who came towards the end of the show soon after Mada performance, added value and completed the show with his hit song AmaonaKuchedwa.
Nde’feyo’s Director, Khumbo Munthali said they organised the show for people to appreciate Ngoleka’s talents.
Munthali said Ngoleka’s music is “so refreshing and inspiring and she delivers the gospel message in a way that touches the soul.”
He also pointed out that fans can start sampling her music by downloading the 2 singles online.
“Fans have limited free downloads of her 2 singles on Malawi-music.com so they can sample this new talent,” said Munthali.
Other artists that performed included Patience Namadingo and Faith Mussa .
The singer was born in the United Kingdom and only returned in 2011 and while doing her A-levels she took music as her subject where she mastered the guitar.
