Having suffered a 2-2 draw  to Dwangwa United in their last League match, the  Salima based soldiers will be eager to prove their metal against another  tough side at their home infront of their thousands of faithful .

Having been inferior on several occasions, doesn’t bode well for the soldiers,

But, it is not all doom and gloom for the Soldiers  who have at times played some good football this season, even if the results in the second round  have not been forthcoming – especially of late.

Head coach Thomas Maloya  has tried to shake things up of late, employing a 3-4-3 system with no fewer than six defensive-minded players included in his starting 11 for the clash in their previous match in Dwangwa.

The formation failed to reap rewards in their draw to the sugarcane growing out-fit.

“We are in Blantyre on a serious mission not as tourists. For us to remain in contention we need to beat the best, and one them is Bullets,” said Maloya.

Maloya will surely be  beaming with confidence ahead of Sunday’s do or die encounter as he has enough weapons in Richard Mbulu, Saidi Mtekama and Paul Ndolvu to upset the tables against the Peoples Team.

However, the soldiers are aware what Bullets is capable at the soccer cathedral infront of their Biafra stands.

Elijah Kananji  has brought about real change at the club since he joined Mabvuto Lungu and Llyod Nkhwazi on the  technical panel list.

The likes of Chiukepo Msowoya, Dalitso Sailesi and Diverson Mlozi  will also be eager to prove their worth against the visiting side.

Nyasa Big Bullets assistant coach Mabvuto Lungu said they are set for maximum points and appealed to their fans to come in their large numbers to support their team.
