According to Kondwani Gulani the chairperson of the Foundation the Promoting Education for at Risk Children (PREACH) project which is to be launched on 7 March 2015, is aiming at bringing back and keeping at risk children in school starting with areas that are within Blantyre thereby promoting education standards in Malawi.

The project comes after a research conducted by the foundation in areas within Blantyre has shown that almost 80% of children are at risk of dropping out of school while others have already dropped out.

Accoring to Gulani, the project will be done through community youth clubs, chiefs and Traditional Authorities who will be working together with their communities in bringing back and keeping in school all children that are at risk in their communities.

It will also offer scholarships for children that are less privileged so that they can continue with their education.

Gulani also stressed that the project is not only looking at children who have dropped out of school and are in their homes but it is also looking at street kids who are just in the streets of Blantyre for no reason or due to poverty or other contributing factors.

Busy Youth Foundation is brain child of Matindi Schools Alumni and was Established in 201
