You don’t expect a regional league to finance itself when it doesn’t have an all out support from the main football administrator in the country (FAM). In his acceptance speech the new FIFA President did mention that his office is going to support National Football Associations with funds in the ranges $3.8 million or thereabouts. We expect the money to trickle down to regional bodies in order for them to run their associations at that level other than confiscating the money within FAM offices whose accounting books goes unaudited.
