FAM further urges the fans to continue being disciplined on 10th December 2016 when the final match of the competition will be played.

The plea was made by FAM Competitions Manager Gomezgani Zakazaka on Wednesday inside MIJ FM Mpira ku Malawi Programme.

He highlighted that only one incident was recorded on 19th July 2016 whereby a Nyasa Big Bullets fan invaded the pitch and  ended up tampering with a bottle of water belonging to Silver Strikers goalkeeper which was which was within the goal area.

But Zakazaka said he was glad to announce that incident was properly taken care off through issuing of a K500,000 fine to Nyasa Big Bullets for letting their supporters into the pitch who has also been slapped with a four year ban from any football related matches.

Kamuzu Barracks and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers will meet in the final on 10th December 2016 at the Civo Stadium in the Capital City Lilongwe.

Zakazaka further brushed aside reports that the cup final has been shifted to 17th December
2016.

“There was no any  such communication from us Fam who are the organizers and administrators of the cup, about shifting of dates. The FISD Cup final is on and will be played on 10th December 2016” Zakazaka told the radio.
He therefore reminded supporters that it is not allowed for people who are not technical to be found in the football pitch before, during and after the match.
