Look at her organization. There is tribalism and regionalism. Only people of her region and home were offered jobs at her organization and now you call her a hero. Shame on you!!! Of the 3 people the writer listed above only the senior Chief deserves the national pride the two two do not. Suppose Kumwenda and Kailya were Southerners how could have northerners responded. How do you want us southerners to respond. To hell with her

Congratulations mama Kaliya. You are such a hard worker and focused activist. I personally wish you all the best as you take up this admirable role on the global stage. This only shows that despite being the poorest country in the world, there is hope that one day we will become a great nation. The other day it was Mwawi Kumwenda; a few days ago, it was Senior Chief Kachindamoto of Dedza winning an international award and, today, it is you.
