Mr President, Crime should be eliminated, including that of our DPP cadres who terrorize others. They kill at will even a police officer at Goliati. Though I am not a PP follower, that was also a crime at it’s high level. Have they been brought to book, Mr President? The panga welders of Blantyre, have they been brought to book and sentenced? The Robert Chasowa assassination. The Fanikiso murder! We are breeding thieves in Malawi by tolerating street kids who terrorise people even during day time. They harras, verbally abuse and beat up women in our streets just because you’ve given them little money or nothing. These boys are even more dangerous at night where they stab or rape. When they grow up they graduate to minibus call boys and hard core thieves and robbery gangs that terrorise homes at night and hack people with no mercy because alibe umunthu or chisoni kamba ka moyo omwe anakulila. Talk is cheap without action. Most of the armed robberies taking place its either the Lhomwe people or people mostly from Southern districts. Time to be specific when attacking crime pepetrators
