Please de-registration is the best way to deal with ill-equipped and half-baked beggars and mafia. They offer nothing to this nation besides spreading HIV with the theft money. Time stipulated in too much.

Remove the fee of Mk35 000 and you will see many coming. some of the NGO have never had any funding from anywhere since they registered and where on earth do you think they can pay that money. Its the passion to help that drives them to register. The problem is that if you hear of an NGO all you think is that they have money. De-register only those organisation you have evidence that they are not doing what they were registered for.You just want to en-rich your accounts and nothing for regulation purposes.

Not only should these fucken NGOs so to speak submit their plan of actions, they should also just as government operations do, develop strategic plans from which their activities should be based. Government should be tasking them to submit their achievements at least quarterly. I know a certain NGO in Phalombe built grass thatched houses for the under privileged under a watchful eye of the area’s MP and councillor. What a shame. Some of the NGOs operating in the villages are their to thieve money from their donors. So the demand here is welcome.

Here are the requirements for registration so you may see that the problem is merely the fees:- A filled registration form (emailed / sent upon request); bullet Certified copy of the constitution; bullet Certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation; bullet Affidavits or statutory declarations for Board of Trustees / Directors. At least two should be Malawian Citizens… Read more »
