Imagine someone with no tress able income/ seasonal income obtains a loan banking on their land. What happens if they fail to pay.
Land will be taken. Who will be buying these lands ? The rich and powerful.
This bill is taking advantage of the ignorance of the majority of us..

To say the least, I like this bill. I am happy that it is passed now. Looking forward to the benefits of this bill. Atupele, if your office as MInister is aware that “most of the MPs and Malawians have not understood the bill”, why then not sensitize the public first before bringing it to the parliament? Why have you chosen to ignore a known fact? Pati biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii pali mingaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
