The time for fearing Presidents must end. The country is bigger than any ruling political party, or President. So, the investigation must proceed. As a nation, we have suffered for too long due to Presidents and other officials who have been stealing and those that are currently plundering the country’s coffers. The rest of the country must be sensitized about the importance of stopping stealing of tax payers’ money by those elected to public office. This is the issue worth spending energy on. Why should government rush to dismiss claims before the probe? This is a call to the doubting tomases that DPP is the engineer of cashgate in Malawi. PP was a victim of circumstances. This is the main reason donors cant come back as long as DPP is there. Every sober minded Malawi knows this very well.
