Malawi police arrest suspected Zambian poachers
Malawi Police in Lilongwe have arrested three Zambians suspected to have killed a lion, a leopard and elephants.
Police spokesperson for the central region confirmed the arrest of the three Zambian.
“They were found with the skins of a lion and a leopard and three fresh ivory,” he said.
This comes at a time when the government and Africa Parks have joined hands to restock some game reserves with the animals.
Africa Parks is transferring elephants, lions, leopards and others from from Liwonde National Park to Nkhotakota Game Reserve.
Director of Parks and Wildlife Brighton Kunchedwa said all animals were poached at Nkhotakota Game Reserve.
Namalenga said all the suspects will be brought to court after investigations on the matter are through.

I think this post is confusing! Were these animals poached in Nkhotakota or what does the writer want to say here? These poachers were arrested by Parks officials at Zambia/Malawi border and were coming from Zambia to sell their products in Malawi. Does that mean these animals were poached in Nkhotakota? Can the author clarify this issue!
