I don’t see any biases or partiality in MPS enforcing the law. This happens in South Africa where the Johannesburg/Gauteng Police receive a lot of financial resources from the public sector to curb crime. This will just enable to the police do their job well with more resources at its disposal. We should recommend TNM for this initiative to civic educate the masses on the criminality of vandalism. I hope other companies will emulate this good gesture!

Private donations to MPS should be OUTLAWED by the enlightened government of APM. Donations pave the way for favoritism of many forms, and of compromising policing. Did Kainjajero, PhD, not learn about this in his police psychology courses? The contribution should have been made to some agency, and not directly to an arm of the government. I once saw at a police road block, a sign saying the posts were donated by a private company (the name was written there). That’s really bull shit. Am glad we now have a Dr. in Malawi Police, Ku Keyala kwa anayambakale. We need such highly educated individuals in the security system. Titetezo chamasikuanu ndi chamauku, criminology etc.

Malawi must be a very sick country. How can donations to the police be accepted with a smile from ear to ear. In any civilised country, donations to the police service are strictly a no no for they compromise or may be seen to compromise police impartiality.
