The Flames will face Swaziland on 5th September, 2015 away in Mbabane.

The team which is currently in training camp at the Chiwembe Technical Centre in the Commercial City of Blantyre will depart for South Africa on 30th August, 2015.

“They will camp in South Africa from 30th August to 4th September before going to Swaziland,” said FAM General Secretary Suzgo Nyirenda.

According to Nyirenda, the move will help the new technical panel of Ernest Mtawali and his Assistant Nsazurwimo Ramadhan to monitor the combinations of local players as they will be training together with foreign based players.

He further hinted that the coach is putting trust in locally based players and revealed the majority of players travelling to Swaziland will be local players.

Mtawali is expected to release a 21 man squad this coming Friday 28th August,2015.

Misplacement of resources. Where did the Queens camp?

The flames may even go and camp in Brazil but I doubt if the results will be any better.

Shame on mother Malawi!

Departing of 30th August but the game is on 5th Sept? Allowances allowances and allowances!!! 6 days in expensive South Africa just to prepare for a mere Swaziland? What if it were Nigeria? No no no let us priotise our meagre resources. Zimbabwe though very poor but somehow economically better off than us knew they couldnt afford to fly and spend 3 night allowances against a lowly ranked team in the name of Malawi, arrived by bus a day before the match and won it and left the next morning.
