But his first half ong range goal appeared not to have crossed the line after goalkeeper Itumela Khune tipped on the cross bar.

“Dikwena held Chiefs to a 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium although Robert Ng’ambi’s opener for the visitors did not actually cross the line,” reported KickOff Sports magazine online.

“The visitors took the lead in controversial fashion midway through the opening stanza as Robert Ng’ambi’s fierce effort failed to cross the line but it was still awarded as a goal.”

On report carried on the controversial goal stated that”The deadlock was broken in the 21st minute but the goal should never have stood as Ng’ambi’s shot tipped on the crossbar did not cross the line when it came down.”

Kaizer Chiefs equalised in the 72nd minute but no more goals came as the game ended in a dramatic draw.

On Tuesday two teams with Malawian players Polokwane Stars and Bidvest Wits also settled for a goalless draw.
