Are these “economic fundametals and nflation” only affecting prices of goods and services, and not peoples’ salaries? How shall we buy? Where shall we get the money from? Why can’t we also have our salaries increased to account for the “economic fundamentals and inflation”? I’m really angry with this DPP govt. It’s not caring for the people at all.

So Nyasatimes reporter wants someone from A typical village to calculate how much the sugar is worth now?…. You would have sampled a price from lets say PTC and calculate and let readers know than what you have written here…. Kwa people who are not in Malawi how will they know how to calculate the adjustment if you didn’t provide how much it is worth now!!!

Thanks Mrs Banda for taking note of that. I read this article twice thinking that I missed a line which has both previous and current prices but to my disappointment there is no mention of the old and the new prices. Please Zawadi don’t be lazy, after all it is not that difficult to get these prices.
