Stupid government.
Take some of these projects to Nyika City or to that mediocre “commercial capital” or even that ruinous hillside Welensky City.
LL has so much office space, some of it empty: just ask MPICO.
President in hiding, oh no! Actually we have no president!! HKB is turning in grave!!

thats very important this time a new government building.
yes.babies are dieying in hospitals but ok this is priority.
start taking care of those women who are having delivery instead of a new building for government.
you malawians dont care about that issue?
strikes all over the place because of money and is this priority?ok
what about water, toillets, good hospital assistence?they are not worried about that because when they stay sick they go south africa but you people stay there.
in my opinion its not important the building.now put the money to one building.
government already have nice buildings in lilongwe

Office block for what? Kamuzu Banda developed this country without that office block. We need development at grass root level and not at the capital hill. Moreover Chilima is supposed to be working at the capital hill everyday so what was special with him inspecting the office block?

Just to help MANA when reporting such news – please provide with details like number of office rooms, number of floors, contractor, structure engineers (project managers), etc. When was the expected date of completion and it has delayed by how long? When is the new completion date and expected dates of occupation. Construction news is all about that! The contractors are simply saying the quote sum which was in MK has been lost in devaluation since they are supposed to import most of the construction materials in USD. That means they need a contract review to reflect new costs …………….
