Malawi youth court Prophet Bushiri to a business symposium: Economist Kachaje among speakers

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, South Africa-based President of Shepherd Bushiri Investments and leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) is this month-end scheduled  to speak at a business symposium in Malawi’s commercial capital Blantyre.

Bushiri Symposium in Blantyre

The symposium, organised by the Christian Youth Association of Malawi (CYAMA), will target youths that are passionate about venturing into entreprenuership.

Other speakers at the symposium include Henry Kachaje, Edward Chileka, Leon Matanda, Jimion Nyanda, officials from Malawian banks and the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA).

A statement from CYAMA, which Nyasa Times has seen, says the event “brings different minds in business theory and practice.”

It also challenges youths whose road is entreprenuership to “come [and] get challenged with these great minds of our time.”

The event will be held at Robins Park on Saturday January 28 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, the statement added.

Apart from speeches, there will also be performances from different artists including the widely acclaimed Lawi popular for his ‘whistling song.

Ya, I think Bushiri is an excellent example of a clever entrepreneurs especially on how to raise capital from lazy, naive and greedy people who still believe that miracle money do exist. If miracle money existed why does he make huge collections of non-miracle money from attendees of his church gatherings including selling to them dubious miracle products such as tap water, lotions, arm bands and money more? Just thinking.

Even if somebody buys you a train, do you think you can say thank you? This man says that he wants to help our youth to be on another level in business but it’s like you oppose everything. Like it or not, if he want’s to help others nobody can stop him and the jealousy men let them talk.

What you have said is related to the article? You are only showing your sort of anger and frustration maybe from your failures in life. Learn to learn from successful people

this shall only be a motivational and inspirational entrepreneurship forum. so why not just let people go and participate with a free mind and afterwards filter what suits them?

Malawians let’s change our mindset, because if we condemn everything that others are doing just because they are succeeding then we are bound to failure and stuck in our poverty harbours

By the way, who is funding this symposium? I doubt if CYAMA has the capacity.
