Malawian new female songbird ‘Hilco’ to release ‘Touch and Go’ music video 

Malawi  dancehall Diva “Hilco” is  set to release a video for her  hit music  “Touch and go” in a few weeks, Following the success of another music video Chekecheke  which has topped most of Malawian  radio chats; the video promises to be just as successful, with a seductive twist and entrancing vibe.

With previous successful tracks such as Ekizakitile, Khonfotable, Pin Code, Ndalema, Shuwa,  Magwilagwila  and Chekecheke,which  is a hot, shows the true testament to her  hard work, determination and talent.

When asked if she found her journey towards success as female musicians challenging; the Chirimba township based musician stated it wasn’t going to be hard because of the reluctance portrayed by most Malawian female musicians.

She went on to say that her brand of music is new and something Malawians haven’t seen and should definitely look out for

“This is the new face you should get used to in the game for l bring out a fresh view to the music industry. I want to be stable in my music and give people what they want,” said the 21 year old musician, who was born on 14th February 1995.

Her real name Hilda Ulolo, who hails from Phalombe found two female artists that inspired her to be the lady she is today and these were Blackamore and Calister.

Her advice to fellow female artists out there is that “Never give up on your dreams. It is a very long journey that consists of hiccups along the way but remember your strength and you will succeed in life”.
