Malawian UK based artists hold concert

Malawian artists based in United Kingdom  (UK) will  on Saturday November 19 come together for the first time to perform at  a concert  dubbed ‘Malawi Night’ in Birmingham.

The show has been organised by headline singer Nick Thindwa of Muli Mphamvu hit song. He has lined up artists such as Langa Ndovie of Mundiunikile fame, Asante Nkukupa and Avail Band ,The Lajas of Judah fame, Ragga king based in Scotland, Heavy T and up coming artists from live band music DJ Nice and DJ Lex will also spice up the show.

According to Thindwa, the concert has been organised is to provide fun seekers a taste of Malawian talent based in UK.

Langa Ndovie who recently revived his singing career after performing at Nyasa Times 10th anniversary event, said: “ We thought of giving music fans total music even because most of the times we just perform on some already themed events and we are given limited time.This time is hundred 100 percent music.”

The show will be at Holy Lane Social Club, Birmingham,  BL24 9LH .

Organisers say people can still buy tickets by calling 07472010 106 for booking and reservations for £10 per head and the gates will open at 4pm till late.

Let the truth be known, Asantie Mkukupa could sing,even more than her elder sister Rudo Mkukupa,hopefully on this event she’ll deliver….thanks NIC Thindwa and all the organiser for recognising her talent….sometimes I wonder why she doesn’t release an album of her own….will someone promote her please because she’s good or promoting the likes of Nic Thindwa,Langa Ndovie,Brave mnyanyi can’t get wrong but kaya chimavuta nchani kaya powakaikila….how could u promoters doubt the like of Asantie
