Malawi’s Black Missionaries to perform in Ireland, Botswana

Malawi’s popular reggae band will peform in Ireland in August at the climax of its three-nation tour to take them to Botswana and South Africa between July and September.

The band’s lead vocalist Anjiru Fumulani disclosed on Sunday of the tour during performance at Club XL in Blantyre.

He said this was in line with intention to perform at international shows.

“One of the shows has been organised by Malawians based in Botswana to commemorate Independence Day while the other show has been organised by a Botswana promoter,” Anjiru said.

“In Ireland we will perform at Miss Ireland Malawi,” he said.

Black Missionaries, known for hard core reggae ryhthm have just released an album Kuyimba 9.

It was a band formed by celebrated reggae star  late Evison Matafale.
