The nearly 400 Malawians that have been trained already, what have they done to develop their country? Nothing. So why more money training others? White people, especially British are not that smart, they keep pumping money where there is no results that is why the voted to exit the EU, anatha ma plan. Like someone below said, use the money to offer local scholarships or build hostels in our University so the students are not selling their bodies to pay rent or buy food. I leave in Zomba so I have all the experience and evidence. Timamenya gwamula.

So many legible Malawians available in our universities. You still want us to go to UK in order to benefit from these scholarships. Its good but consider Chevening and Commonwealth scholarships tenable in our own universities in Malawi, LUANAR, MUST, UNIMA or MZUNI. Many students have nor proper sponsorship and therefore instead of requesting that we return to our countries upon finishing our studies, provide the scholarship right here in Malawi so that we do not need to stay in your countries.
